Sail Poole Harbour rents a Jeanneau Sun 2000 yacht called 'Skate'.
Keeping with the tradition of smaller sailboats, the Jeanneau Sun 2000 reunites all of the strong points of recreational sailing : fine hull lines, stability and speed, a large comfortable cockpit, creative use of interior space. In short a great little sailing boat. Half the size, twice the fun!
The SUN 2000 is a four berth cruiser with a swing keel - a great balance between dinghy and cruising sailing. The keel lifts completely into the hull and the rudder is a sliding dagger board system providing a shallow draft when needed. She will float in just 30 cm of water and can safely dry out on a beach - of which there are plenty in Poole Harbour!
She has a large cockpit with space for the helm and crew.
As well as the main and genoa, a cruising chute on a bowsprit is available - ask for details. A new 5HP outboard provides power when not sailing
A colour Garmin chart plotter keeps track of your location and the large anchor will hold you safely for lunch and overnight stops - there are plenty of anchorages in the harbour.
